Norton Bearing, R.H.
A right-hand side wheel bearing appearing in front and rear wheel catalog listings from 1971-1973.
NM.17721 is a wheel bearing that shows up in the catalog under front wheel, front brake, and rear wheel listings for the 1971-1973 span. The R.H. designation ties it to a specific side of the hub assembly, but our records don't spell out beyond that which particular wheel or model it goes with.

Because this number appears across both disc and drum front brake figures as well as rear wheel figures, it looks like a bearing part number that got used in more than one wheel assembly during this period. Given how many different figures it turns up in, we'd want to see the actual wheel or hub in front of us, or at least know which end of the bike you're working on, before confirming this is the right one.
If you're rebuilding a hub from this era, give the shop a call with what you've got on the bench and we'll help nail down the correct bearing for your side and application.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
