Norton Washer
A steel retaining washer for the Norton Commando rear hub that backs up the felt washer on the dummy axle.
This is a Norton part, not a Triumph one, despite where it lands in our filing. The 06-2071 is a steel retaining washer used on the Commando rear hub, where it holds a felt washer in place against the dummy axle inside the cush-drive assembly. It's a small piece, but it keeps dirt and grit off the felt washer it backs up, so the felt can do its job of keeping grease where it belongs and water out.

Our own catalog record on this one is thin - one entry, tied to the Front Wheel and Brake figure for 1975. If you're chasing this for a Commando rear hub rebuild, it's worth having on hand alongside the felt washer it retains, but check the stack-up against what you've got apart on the bench before you order.
Given how little detail we carry on this part number, call the shop if you want to confirm it's the right retainer for your hub before you commit to a purchase.
