Selector fork roller

A selector fork roller from the gearbox selector mechanism, used with the camplate to shift gears.

PN · NT261

This is a selector fork roller, part number NT261, used in the gearbox selector mechanism. It rides in the selector fork and follows the track cut into the camplate, converting the camplate's rotation into the sideways movement that shifts the gearbox into each gear.

Our records show this roller turning up across gearbox inner cover and selector mechanism drawings through the 1960s into 1970, so it's a part that stuck around in the selector setup for a good stretch of catalog years. If you're rebuilding the selector mechanism and the forks show wear where the roller rides, it's worth checking this one for flat spots or play.

We don't have more detail on this one beyond its place in the selector assembly, so if you're not sure which roller your box takes, bring the old one in or give us a call before you order.
