Float bowl assy

Float bowl assembly for the Amal Mk II Concentric carburetor used on later T140E/T140D-era Triumphs.

PN · 99-7089

This is the float bowl assembly for an Amal Mk II Concentric carburetor, the part that hangs off the bottom of the carb body and holds the fuel supply ready for the float and needle to meter into the venturi. It shows up in the parts books under the T140E and T140D carburetor figures, so it's tied to the later Amal Mk II Concentric setup used on those machines.

The float bowl is a wear item that owners end up replacing or rebuilding when the seams start seeping fuel, the float gets stuck, or the bowl itself cracks from age and vibration. Since it's cataloged specifically for the Mk II Concentric, it isn't interchangeable with the older Mk I bowl assembly - check which carb you've actually got before ordering.

Our catalog record on this one is fairly thin beyond the figure listings, so if you're not sure whether your carburetor is a Mk I or Mk II Concentric, give us a call and we'll help sort out fitment before you order.
