Our catalog shows this disc appearing on Mk II Concentric carburetors used on T140E and T140D applications from 1979 to 1983. If you're rebuilding a Mk II Concentric and the needle's been rattling around or won't stay put, this disc is a likely culprit worth checking.
Since it's a small carb internal, it's easy to lose track of during a strip-down - keep it with the needle and jet when you pull the slide assembly apart so nothing goes missing before reassembly.
