Horn relay (93188)
Horn relay for the electrical system, later factory-renumbered to 33188.
This is the horn relay listed in our records as 99-1027, sometimes shown under the number 33188U in older parts books. It shows up in the electrical section alongside the ignition coils, horn, and rectifier/zener diode setup, so it lives with the rest of the charging and accessory wiring rather than out at the horn itself.

A horn relay like this takes the load off the horn switch by letting a small trigger current from the handlebar switch energize a relay that then passes the heavier current the horn actually needs. That keeps the switch contacts from burning out under repeated use.
Our catalog record only ties this one to a single model year, and the factory later renumbered this part to 33188. If your bike's parts book lists 33188 instead of 99-1027, that's the same relay under its later number. Give us a call if you want to confirm which one you need before ordering.
