Fixing wire (504665)
A small fixing wire used to secure wiring in headlamp and electrical assemblies, part number 99-0683, superseded by 504665.
This is a fixing wire, the kind of small hardware item that shows up again and again in the electrical side of the catalog rather than being tied to one job. Our records show it appearing across headlamp and flasher lamp assemblies, general electrical equipment listings, the ignition capacitor and headlamp grouping, and the headlamp/wiring harness/switch/tail lamp figures, so it's clearly a piece used to secure or route wiring in and around the lighting and switch gear rather than a single dedicated bracket or clip.

The part number 99-0683 and the factory number 504665 refer to the same physical part, with 504665 being the number that superseded it. If your parts book lists one or the other, you're looking at the same fixing wire.
Given how many different electrical figures this shows up in over such a long catalog span, it's worth having a couple on hand if you're rewiring a headlamp shell or console. If you're not sure which application you need it for, give us a call and we'll help sort out the right spot for it.
