Banjo bolt – fuel pipe to float chamber
Banjo bolt securing the fuel pipe union to the float chamber on Amal carburetors, PN 99-0517 (622/078).
This is the banjo bolt that clamps the fuel pipe union to the float chamber on the Amal carburetor, part number 99-0517, also listed as 622/078. It's a small but important fitting — it holds the banjo fitting tight against the float chamber body so fuel feeds into the carb without leaking or drawing air at the joint.

It shows up in the catalog under the T140V carburetor figure and in the carburetor throttle linkage section, with catalog appearances spanning 1973 to 1977. If you're rebuilding a float bowl or chasing a fuel leak at the inlet union, this is the bolt to check first — a worn or buggered banjo bolt is a common source of weeping fuel at that joint.
