This is a float spindle for an Amal carburetor, listed in our records under PN 99-0513 (also seen as 622/071). It's the small pivot pin that the float assembly hinges on inside the float chamber, letting the float rise and fall with fuel level so the needle valve can shut off the flow at the right point.
