L.H.FORK SLIDER(97-4399)
Left-hand fork slider (lower leg) with disc brake caliper mount, also cataloged as 97-4399.
This is the left-hand fork slider (also called a fork lower leg) that carries the front disc brake caliper mount, cross-referenced here under 97-7088 with the older 97-4399 number also appearing on the part. It's the lower half of the front fork on the left side of the bike, the piece the fork tube slides into and where the caliper bolts on.

The catalog listing is brief on this one, but the caliper mount tells you this is a disc-brake-era slider, not something meant for the earlier drum-front bikes. If you're rebuilding a front end and need to know exactly which leg goes with which caliper and disc setup, bring us the numbers off your current fork and we'll sort out fitment before you order.
Given how little detail we have on file beyond the part number and the alias, treat any model-year matching as something to confirm with us rather than assume from the number alone.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
