Bridge piece assembly
Front mudguard mounting bridge for Triumph 750 twins of the OIF era, 1976-1983 catalog listing.
This is the front mudguard bridge piece for the OIF-era Triumph 750 twins, part number 97-7004. The bridge is the bracket that ties the two fork legs together underneath the fender, giving the front mudguard a solid mounting point instead of letting it flex on its own stays. It shows up in the parts book under the Fenders / Mudguards - Fixings figure, and our catalog record spans 1976 through 1983.

It's a small part but it does real work holding the front fender steady, and since it sits right down in the fork area it takes its share of road grime, salt, and general abuse over the decades. If yours is cracked, rusted through, or missing a mounting tab, that's usually the reason the front fender starts rattling loose.
