Top cap nut
Top cap nut for the telescopic front fork leg, closing off the top of the fork tube.
The top cap nut sits at the very top of the telescopic front fork leg, capping off the fork tube where it protrudes above the top yoke. It closes off the top of the fork assembly and gives you a place to check or top up fork oil without pulling the whole leg apart.

This one shows up in the fork parts book under the telescopic front fork listing, and our catalog record only ties it to the 1974 model year across the two entries we have on file. If you're working on a different year machine, check the number stamped or listed in your own parts book before ordering, since fork top caps changed over the years.
It's a simple part but an important seal point at the top of the leg, so make sure the threads and any washer or seal that goes with it are in good shape when you put it back together.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
