SIDE COVER BADGE SIL/BLK
Silver-on-black side cover badge for the 750cc Bonneville twin's side panel.
This is the side cover badge, the small nameplate that sits on the panel behind the seat where the frame tubes meet, spelling out the model name in raised lettering against a black background. The lettering here is done in silver on black, one of the two color combinations Triumph ran on these panels.

Catalog listings tie this badge to the 750cc Bonneville twins of the unit-construction era, mounted on the side panel rather than a fuel tank badge or tank stripe. It's held on with a couple of small fasteners or clips from behind the panel, so pulling the old one and swapping this in is a straightforward job once the panel's off the bike.
We don't have a lot of extra detail on file for this one beyond what's on the badge itself. If you're not sure whether your panel takes the silver-on-black or the gold-on-black version, bring the old badge in or snap a photo before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
