Protection spring — oil pipe (feed)
A protective wire spring that wraps the oil feed pipe at the oil tank to guard against chafing.
This is the coiled protection spring that wraps around the oil feed pipe on the oil tank, keeping the line from chafing or kinking where it runs to the tank. Triumph's parts books list it under 82-9530, with F9530 as the earlier form of the same number.

It shows up in the OIL TANK and OIL TANK AND COOLER figures, so it lives right at the tank end of the oil feed line, not down at the engine. The catalog entries for this one span 1969 through 1974, though our record doesn't pin it to a specific model beyond that.
It's a simple wire spring, not a hose or a fitting, so replacing it is mostly about protecting the pipe underneath rather than sealing anything. If the old one's flattened out or split, it's worth swapping in a fresh one before it lets the pipe rub through.
