Cotter pin for the kickstart crank, secures it on the outer timing cover assembly.

Part number 75-3143 is a cotter pin used to secure the kickstart crank on the outer timing cover assembly. It's the small tapered pin that locks the kickstart lever pinch or the crank pivot in place so the kickstart doesn't work loose or slip under load.
