Silencer – bottom
A bottom silencer listed in the Triumph parts book, exact model fitment not specified in our records.
71-2956 is listed in the parts book as a bottom silencer, filed under a figure that covers handlebar, dual seat, fuel tank, and silencers. It's an exhaust system component, but our records don't spell out which model or engine it was fitted to beyond that single catalog appearance from 1973.

Without more detail in the record on dimensions, finish, or which bike it paired with, we can't say more about how it mounts or what else it works with. If you've got the other half of your exhaust off the bike, bring the numbers off both pipes when you call so we can confirm this is the right one before you order.
Give the shop a call with your bike's details and we'll sort out fitment together.
