Nut, muffler to hanger
A 1/4 UNF Cleveloc self-locking nut used to secure the muffler to its hanger bracket on Triumph, BSA, and Norton machines.
This is a Cleveloc self-locking nut, catalog number 14-1201, listed in Triumph's parts books as the nut that secures the muffler to its hanger bracket. The thread is 1/4 UNF. Cleveloc nuts have a raised, slightly ovalized crenelated ring on top that grips the bolt threads and resists working loose under vibration, which makes them a common choice anywhere on the bike that sees constant shaking, like the exhaust system.

This part number shows up across a wide range of figure titles in the parts books, from exhaust pipe and muffler assemblies to fenders, handlebar controls, and electrical component pages, so it clearly got used in a lot of different spots on the machine, not just at the muffler hanger. If you're chasing this nut down for an exhaust hanger repair specifically, this is the right one, but don't be surprised to see the same part number called out on other pages of the book too.
It also carries an alternate reference number, 95065A104, which is worth knowing if you're cross-referencing against a different supplier's listing.
