Dowel, rocker box to head
Locating dowel that aligns the rocker box to the cylinder head on unit-construction Triumph twins.
71-2361 is a dowel that locates the rocker box on the cylinder head. It's a small alignment pin, nothing glamorous, but it keeps the rocker box seated square on the head so everything lines up when you bolt it down. The legacy parts book form of this one is E12361, same physical piece under the older number.

You'll find it called out across cylinder block and head figures for TR7RV, TR6R, TR6C, and T120R models spanning the early to late 1970s production runs, showing up in both earlier and later variants of those figures. It's a low-cost item that's easy to lose track of during a top end rebuild, so it's worth having a couple on hand when you pull the rocker boxes off.
If you're reassembling the top end and the old dowel is buggered up, bent, or just missing, this is the replacement. Not much else to say about it beyond that it's a locating pin, not a fastener, so it doesn't do any clamping on its own.
