PUSH ROD SLEEVE ZINC STEEL
Zinc-plated steel pushrod tube sleeve (collar) for Triumph unit twins, fitted where the pushrod tube meets the cylinder block.
71-1707 is the pushrod tube sleeve, also known in some catalogs as the pushrod tube collar. It sits where the pushrod tube meets the cylinder block on Triumph unit twins, sealing that joint and dressing up the tube where it passes up the side of the barrel. The catalog lists it under CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD and MANIFOLD AND TAPPETS figures across a run of Triumph twin models into the late 1970s, and it also shows up under the older E11707 number.

This is a small, plain part but it does real work keeping the pushrod tube joint sealed and looking tidy where it's visible on the side of the motor. Catalog listings show it made of zinc-plated steel. If you're rebuilding the top end or just replacing tired-looking sleeves, it's worth checking all four (or however many your engine uses) at the same time since they tend to get scuffed or corroded together.
We list this under its Triumph part number 71-1707; some parts books show the earlier E11707 form for the same piece. If your bike's cylinder head area shows a later-style tube arrangement, give us a call to confirm which sleeve you need before ordering.
