O-RING (HI-TEMP) 3/32
Hi-temp O-ring for the pushrod tube on Triumph unit twins, PN 71-1283.
This is the hi-temp O-ring used at the pushrod tube on Triumph unit-construction twins, part number 71-1283, also seen in older records as E11283 or 9464K84. It shows up across the cylinder block and head figures for a wide range of the unit twins - T140V, T140E, T100C, T100R, TR6R, TR6C, T120R, and TR7RV - so it's a part that gets called for again and again whenever a top end comes apart.

The pushrod tubes carry oil down to the tappets and back, and they run right next to a hot cylinder, which is why Triumph specified a heat-resistant O-ring here instead of a standard rubber one. When these seals age out or get baked hard, you get the classic pushrod tube oil leak that shows up as a wet patch down the side of the barrel.
Given how many cylinder head jobs call for this seal, it's worth having a few on hand rather than ordering one at a time when you're mid-teardown.
