OIL PUMP GASKET 3 CYLINDER
Gasket for the three-cylinder engine's oil pump, seals the pump to the timing chest.
This is the oil pump gasket for the three-cylinder engine, part number 71-1442, also listed under the older 41T and E11442 numbers. It seats between the oil pump body and the timing chest, sealing the pump so oil pressure stays where it belongs instead of weeping out around the mounting face.

It shows up in the parts books under both the oil pump release valve and filter figure and the inner primary cover oil pump figure, so it's a small but necessary piece any time that pump comes off for inspection or a rebuild. Given how thin and static these gaskets are, it's not something you want to reuse once the pump has been off the engine.
Our catalog listing spans 1970 through 1974 across several rows, which tells you this pump and its gasket carried on with minimal change over that stretch. Worth having a fresh one in the drawer any time you're pulling the oil pump for cleaning or replacement.
