PN · 70-9250

This is the timing cover for the T100 500cc twin, part number 70-9250, also known under the E9250 alias. It shows up in the parts book under the Timing Cover and Contact Breaker figure, which places it on the front of the engine where the ignition contact breaker points live.

The timing cover bolts over the timing chest and gives you access to the points for gapping and service without pulling the whole engine apart. Catalog records show it appearing across 1969 through 1974, so it's a part that stuck around for several seasons of production.

If you're replacing one of these, check the condition of the gasket surface and the points cam housing before you bolt it up. Call the shop if you want us to confirm this matches what's currently on your engine.
