INLET MANIFOLD T100C 28MM - LATER TYPE WITH 5/16 MOUNTING HOLES
Later-type T100C single-carburetor inlet manifold, 28mm, with 5/16 mounting holes, PN 70-7578.
This is the inlet manifold off the T100C single-carburetor cylinder head, the later version with 5/16 mounting holes, part number 70-7578 (also shows up under E7578 in older parts books). It's the piece that bolts between the head and the carburetor, carrying the fuel-air mixture into the engine, and this one is the 28mm size that matches the single-carb setup on the C-range machines.

Catalog records place this manifold in the single-carburetor manifold figures alongside the T90, T100S, and T100C, and it also turns up in the twin-carburetor T100T/T100R figures — likely for shops converting a dual-carb head over to a single carb. If you're matching an old one off the bike, check your mounting hole spacing against the 5/16 spec before you order, since earlier manifolds in this family used a different hole size.
We don't have a lot more written down on this part beyond the figure listings, so if you're not sure which manifold your head takes, give us a call and we'll sort it out before you buy.
