TENSIONER BLADE,A65 T160
Steel primary chain tensioner blade with bonded rubber pad for BSA A50/A65 twins.
This is a chain tensioner blade, and despite the number falling in a run we usually associate with Triumph, the catalog description and every cross-listing we can find point to BSA A50 and A65 twins as the actual application. It's a steel blade with a bonded rubber pad that rides against the primary chain, taking up slack as the chain wears so the primary case doesn't rattle itself apart.

The part also carries an older alias number, B250, which is the sort of legacy prefix swap you see when a part number gets folded into a later parts book without changing the physical piece. If your bike is an A50 or A65 and the primary chain has gotten noisy or loose, this blade is one of the usual suspects worth checking before you go chasing other causes.
We don't have much more in our own records beyond the description and the cross-reference, so if you're unsure whether this matches what's in your primary chaincase, give us a call and we'll help confirm before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
