COVER SCREW 1/4BSF 2.75L (Phillips) NLA use 1/4x26x2.75A (Allen)
Old-style 1/4 BSF Phillips cover screw, 2.75 in. long, now discontinued — replaced by the 1/4x26x2.75A Allen-head screw.
This is the older Phillips-head cover screw, 1/4 BSF thread, 2.75 inches long, that Triumph originally specified for this fastening point. The catalog marks it NLA (no longer available) in this form, so if you're ordering it new the replacement is the Allen-head version, 1/4 x 26 x 2.75A, which is a straight functional swap for the same hole.

We don't have much more on file for this one beyond the description itself, so if you're trying to match an original Phillips-head look on a restoration, know going in that the factory has moved everyone over to the Allen pattern. Functionally there's no difference once it's torqued down, just a different head style and driver needed to get it in and out.
Call the shop if you want to talk through whether the Allen-head swap will bother you cosmetically before you order — some folks care about keeping Phillips heads on show bikes, others just want the hole filled.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
