BUSHING KICKSTART QUADRANT

Bushing for the kickstart quadrant in the gearbox kickstart mechanism.

PN · 67-3153

This is the kickstart quadrant bushing, listed in the parts books as 67-3153 and also known under the older I204 reference. The kickstart quadrant is the toothed segment that the kickstart shaft engages when you swing the lever down to fire the engine over, and this bushing is the wear part that keeps that quadrant running true on its pivot.

Over time the quadrant bushing wears and lets the quadrant slop around, which shows up as a sloppy or inconsistent kickstart action. Swapping in a fresh bushing is one of the basic fixes when the kickstart mechanism feels loose or worn.

We don't have much more detail on file for this one beyond what's in the catalog listing. If you're not sure this is the exact bushing your gearbox needs, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
