BSA Swivel pin, brake rod
Swivel pin for the rear brake rod linkage, part number 65-6274.
This is the swivel pin used in the rear brake rod linkage, part number 65-6274. It shows up in the parts book under FOOTRESTS AND BRAKE LINKAGE and again under SWINGING ARM, CENTRE STAND, REAR BRAKE CONTROL, which puts it right where the brake rod connects into the pedal or linkage assembly at the back of the bike.

A swivel pin like this lets the brake rod pivot freely as the rear brake pedal moves through its arc, so the linkage doesn't bind up as the suspension and pedal travel change the geometry. It's a small part but if it's worn or seized the rear brake pedal can feel stiff or gritty.
