Float needle for the Amal Mk2 carburetor, part number 622/149, supersedes older number 99-7086.
This is the float needle for the Amal Mk2 carburetor, part number 622/149. In the float bowl it's the piece that rides on the float and seats against the needle jet to shut off fuel flow once the bowl reaches the right level - keep it stuck open or worn out and you get flooding, keep it stuck closed and you get fuel starvation.
