Throttle return spring (copper plated)
Copper-plated throttle slide return spring for Amal Concentric carburetors, part number 622/131.
This is the throttle return spring for Amal carburetors, part number 622/131. It sits down inside the mixing chamber body against the throttle slide, and its job is simple: when you roll the twist grip back off, the spring pushes the slide down and closes the throttle. Without it, or with a weak one, the slide can hang up and the engine won't drop back to idle the way it should.

It's a copper-plated spring and shows up across the Amal carburetor figures in the parts books, including the TR6R, TR6C, T120R, T140V, and TR7RV carburetor listings, so it's a common piece across a run of Amal Concentric setups from the early '70s.
It's a small, inexpensive part to have on hand, and worth checking any time a carb is coming apart for a rebuild or a sticking throttle is giving you trouble.
