Throttle return spring (copper plated)
Copper-plated throttle return spring for Amal carburetors used on several Triumph twin-cylinder models.
This is the throttle return spring that lives inside the Amal carburetor slide, the one that pulls the throttle closed when you let off the twistgrip. It's copper plated. Amal used this spring across a wide run of their carburetors, and it shows up in the parts books for T100 and T120 family carburetor figures as well as TR6R and TR6C carb listings spanning 1968 through 1974.

If your return spring has gone weak, rusted, or is just plain missing, the throttle won't snap shut reliably, which is not something you want to find out at speed. It's a small, cheap-to-check item that's worth pulling the slide and inspecting whenever you have the carb apart for a rebuild or a slide/needle check.
Given how many carburetor variants this spring appears under in the catalog, it's a part that carries over well across different Amal carb bodies used on these bikes. Confirm against your own carb before ordering if you're not sure which one you have.
