HIGH GEAR BEARING 5-SPEED - RACELESS ROLLER 73/74-ON T150/RK3 (Early 5 speeds the gear was ground to match the bearing. So 72/73 machines we can not guarantee fit.) Replaces 00-5242
Raceless roller high gear bearing for the 5-speed gearbox, current replacement for the older 00-5242 number.
This is the mainshaft high gear bearing for the 5-speed gearbox, a raceless roller design that rides directly against the ground shaft rather than a separate hardened race. It's a gearbox internal, living inside the transmission shell where it supports the high gear on the mainshaft.

Our catalog entry pegs this as the 73/74-on version. On the earlier 5-speed boxes the gear itself was ground to mate with the bearing, so if you've got one of the 1972/73 machines the fit isn't guaranteed and you'll want to check your existing bearing and gear before ordering. This part replaces the older 00-5242 number, so if your parts book still lists 00-5242 you're looking at the same physical piece under its current designation.
Appears in the gearbox shafts and gears figure for the 5-speed box. If you're not sure which version your box takes, pull the old bearing and compare it to what you're ordering before you button the case back up.
