CARBURETOR (R930/89) less ‘O’ ring
Amal carburetor R930/89 (Triumph PN 60-2183) for TR7RV, TR6R, and TR6C, sold less the O-ring; superseded by R930AL.
This is a complete Amal carburetor listed in the parts books as R930/89, catalogued here under Triumph number 60-2183 (also shown as D2183 in older references). It shows up in figures for the TR7RV as well as the TR6R and TR6C, so it's the carb assembly used on those machines during the years covered in our catalog. Note the listing specifies it comes less the 'O' ring, so you'll want to source that seal separately if you're building up a complete carb.

This part was later superseded by R930AL, so if you're chasing this build in a newer parts book or from a supplier who's moved on to current numbering, that's the number you'll find it under now. Both numbers refer to the same physical carburetor.
Amal carbs of this era are rebuildable and parts-supported, so before you buy new it's worth checking whether your existing unit just needs attention rather than outright replacement. Bring in your old carb or the number off it and we can confirm what you've actually got before you order.
