Twin strip (bright)
Bright twin trim strip that runs along the edge of a Triumph seat pan under the cover.
This is the twin strip trim that runs around the edge of a Triumph seat pan, sitting between the seat base and the vinyl cover. It's a finishing piece more than a structural one, but it does real work along that bottom edge where the cover meets the pan.

The catalog lists it under PANELS AND TWINSEAT and also shows up in the MUDGUARDS/FENDERS figure grouping, and the appearances in our records span the late '60s into 1970. You'll see this part number written a couple of different ways in older books - D696 or EGC7/16 - and it was later carried forward as 60-0696W, so if your parts book shows one of those, you're looking at the same trim strip.
It's a bright finish piece, the kind of small detail that either looks right or looks off on a re-covered seat, so it's worth having on hand when you're doing seat work rather than trying to make do with whatever trim came off the old one.
