Cotter – kickstart crank
The cotter pin that locks the kickstart crank onto its shaft.
This is the cotter pin that secures the kickstart crank to its shaft. It's a small part but it does real work — it's what keeps the kickstart lever locked onto the shaft splines so the whole thing doesn't work loose or slip when you swing the lever down to start the motor.

The catalog places it in the gearbox cover and kickstart crank figure, which is where you'd expect to find it — right at the pivot point where the kickstart lever meets the gearbox. Our record only shows this part appearing once in the catalog, tied to 1973, so we don't have a broader fitment history to point to beyond that.
If you're chasing a loose or wobbly kickstart lever, this cotter pin is one of the first things worth checking. Give us a call if you want help confirming it matches what's on your bike before ordering.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
