High gear bush
High gear bush for the gearbox, fits between the high gear and its shaft to take the wear.
57-3785 is the high gear bush out of the gearbox, listed in the parts books under the GEARBOX SHAFTS AND GEARS heading. This is the older-style number for it, and it shows up in the catalogs alongside its earlier T3785 form, which is the same physical part under the legacy letter-prefix numbering.

A bush like this rides on the mainshaft or layshaft where the high gear turns, giving it a wear surface so the gear itself and the shaft don't get chewed up over time. When one of these wears oversize you'll usually notice play or noise in the box before anything worse happens, so it's a good thing to check when a gearbox is apart for other work.
Our catalog record ties this one to appearances from 1969 to 1970. If you're working on something outside that stretch, give us a call and we'll confirm it's the right bush for your box before you order.
