CLUTCH SPRING SINGLE 250/441/B50 - Also T20 (Requires changing to spring cup 57-4121)

Clutch spring for 250/441/B50 singles and the T20, requires spring cup 57-4121.

PN · 57-2727
Supersedes 57-1742 — earlier factory number for this part.

This is a clutch spring for the 250/441/B50 single-cylinder engine, also listed for the T20. It's a small coil spring that sits in the clutch assembly and provides the pressure that keeps the clutch plates engaged. The catalog notes that fitting this spring requires changing over to spring cup 57-4121, so if you're upgrading or replacing on an older bike, plan on picking up that cup at the same time.

The part carries an earlier factory number, 57-1742, and also shows up under the older I23 designation in some parts books. If your bike's parts list still references either of those numbers, this is the current equivalent.

We don't have a lot of extra detail on file for this one beyond what's in the catalog record. If you're not sure whether your clutch setup uses the older spring cup or the newer 57-4121, give the shop a call before you order so we can sort out what you've got.
