Ignition pointer

Fixed ignition timing pointer used with the primary chaincase inspection cover for setting ignition timing by eye.

PN · 57-2537

This is the ignition timing pointer, part number 57-2537 (older books list it as T2537). It lives in the primary chaincase area, on the inspection cover side, and it's the small fixed pointer or pin you line up against the timing marks on the alternator rotor when you're setting the ignition timing by eye through the inspection hole.
