CLUTCH RELEASE SPOKE,SHORT
Short-pattern clutch release spoke for the gearbox outer cover, working part of the clutch actuating mechanism.
This is the short version of the clutch release spoke, part number 57-1714, also listed under the older T1714 number in earlier parts books. It lives in the gearbox outer cover assembly, where it works as part of the clutch actuating mechanism that pushes the clutch out of engagement when the lever is pulled.

The catalog places this in the GEARBOX OUTER COVER figure, and it shows up across catalog entries from 1964 to 1967. If you're rebuilding the outer cover and clutch release setup, it's worth checking this piece for wear at the contact points since it takes repeated load every time the clutch is worked.
If your parts book lists the T1714 number, that's the same physical piece under its old designation. Give us a call if you're not sure which length spoke your cover uses before ordering.
