Capacitor mounting spring
Mounting spring that clips the ignition capacitor in place on T100C and TR6C headlamp/ignition assemblies.
This is the small mounting spring that holds the ignition capacitor (condenser) in its bracket on Triumph models fitted with a separate capacitor rather than one built into the points housing. It shows up in the catalog under the ignition capacitor and headlamp figures for the T100C and TR6C, where the capacitor sits up near the headlamp shell rather than down at the timing cover.

It's a simple piece of spring steel that clips the capacitor body snug against its mount so it doesn't rattle around or work loose from vibration. Not much to it, but if it's missing or has lost its tension the capacitor can shift or lose contact, which will give you ignition trouble that's easy to misdiagnose as something bigger.
Our catalog data ties this to the T100C and TR6C ignition/headlamp assemblies across the late '60s into 1970. If your bike uses a different capacitor mounting arrangement, check the fit before ordering.
