PILOT LAMP RED LENS ONLY - NZ MADE Flat With Checks

Red faceted pilot lamp lens for the headlamp warning light assembly, lens only, NZ-made stock.

PN · 54363454
Supersedes 99-1208 — earlier factory number for this part.

This is just the lens for one of the small warning lights on the headlamp shell - the red one, not the complete lamp assembly. The catalog calls out a faceted, checked pattern to the glass rather than a plain round lens, and notes it as NZ made stock. The older part number for this same lens was 99-1208, so if your parts book or an old box in the garage has that number on it, this is the same piece.

It shows up in the catalog under the headlamp and flasher lamp figures, which puts it on the front of the bike where the warning lights sit alongside the main headlamp - these small red and green lenses are what let you glance down and see ignition or oil pressure status at a rider's eye level.

Because it is lens-only, you will still need the lamp holder and bulb it goes with if you are rebuilding the whole assembly rather than just swapping a cracked or faded lens.
