BSA Chainwheel complete (52 teeth)

Complete 52-tooth chainwheel assembly from the clutch/primary drive area.

PN · 47-3214

This is the complete chainwheel assembly, 52 teeth, as it shows up in the clutch section of the parts book. In the primary drive, the chainwheel is the big sprocket that the engine drives the clutch through, so it carries the load between the engine sprocket and the clutch basket by way of the primary chain.
