Nut, footrest to stud, left-hand (7/16" B.S.C. left-hand)
Left-hand thread 7/16" B.S.C. nut that secures the footrest to its mounting stud.
This is the nut that secures the footrest to its mounting stud, and it's cut with a left-hand thread, so it's not interchangeable with the standard nut on the other side of the bike. It shows up in the footrests and brake linkage section of the parts book, which tells you it lives right where the footrest stud passes through the frame or bracket.

The left-hand thread on this one matters. If you're stripping down the footrest assembly, keep this nut separate from any right-hand ones you pull off the same job so you don't end up cross-threading something on reassembly.
Our catalog only shows this part turning up once, tied to 1969, so we don't have a broader fitment picture beyond that. If you're not sure this is the nut your bike takes, give us a call and we'll check it against what you've got.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
