Tickler spring
Return spring for the tickler pin on an Amal carburetor, part number 376/087.
This is a tickler spring for an Amal carburetor, the small return spring that pushes the tickler pin back up once you let go of it. Pressing the tickler down floods the float bowl for cold starts; the spring is what returns the pin to its normal position so the float can go back to doing its job.

Our catalog record shows this part turning up in figures for the T90 and T100 carburetor and separately for the TR6 carburetor, spanning entries from the mid-1960s. We don't have a specific Amal carburetor model name tied to this part in our records, so if you're matching it against a particular carb, check your parts book or bring it in and we'll confirm before you order.
It's a small, inexpensive item to keep on hand — tickler springs are easy to lose track of during a carb rebuild, and a weak or missing one will leave the tickler pin sticking down instead of springing back.
