Q.D. REAR WHEEL COMPLETE
A complete quickly-detachable rear wheel assembly, not fitted to U.S.A.-spec models.
This is a complete quickly-detachable rear wheel assembly, listed in the catalog as Q.D. REAR WHEEL COMPLETE. The Q.D. hub system let riders pull the rear wheel out without disturbing the chain or brake, a feature Triumph ran on certain models for a period before it was phased out. The figure title on this one notes it plainly as not for U.S.A. spec, so if you're working on a bike sold new in the States, this isn't the wheel that came with it.

The catalog only ties this part number to a single year's listing, and there's no further breakdown in our records of hub size, spoke count, or rim width. If you're trying to match a Q.D. rear wheel for a restoration, bring in what you've got or send photos so we can compare against what's on the shelf before you order.
The older reference for this part shows up as W1814 in earlier literature, same physical assembly under the legacy numbering.
