Q.D. REAR WHEEL COMPLETE
Complete quickly-detachable (QD) rear wheel assembly, Triumph part 37-1601.
This is the quickly-detachable rear wheel assembly, complete, as listed under 37-1601 (also shown in older records under W1601). The QD wheel design lets the rear wheel come out of the frame without disturbing the chain or brake, which was a common feature Triumph offered on certain models so a rider could pull the wheel for a roadside puncture repair without much fuss.

The catalog entry we have on file is brief and shows up just once, tied to the QUICKLY DETACHABLE REAR WHEEL figure. It doesn't spell out which specific model or year range this complete wheel assembly was fitted to beyond that single listing.
If you're trying to match this to a wheel you've got on the bench, give us a call and we'll go through the details with you before you order, since a complete wheel assembly like this has a lot of parts that all need to line up with what you're replacing.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
