Amal Mk2 carburetor throttle slide, cutaway #3.
This is an Amal throttle slide, cutaway #3, for the Mk2 carburetor. The slide is the part that moves up and down inside the carb body when you twist the throttle, and the cutaway number determines how much air gets let past the slide at small throttle openings, which has a real effect on how the bike pulls off idle and through the lower part of the throttle range.
