This is an Amal jet blanking screw, part number 2622/142. It's used to plug a jet passage in the carburetor body when that particular jet isn't fitted or needs to be sealed off. On Amal carbs with multiple jet positions, a blanking screw keeps unused ports closed up so fuel and air don't leak out where they shouldn't.
