Nut, torque stay to brake plate
1/2 UNF nut that secures the torque stay to the rear brake backplate, PN 14-0305.
This is the nut that secures the torque stay to the brake plate at the rear wheel, part number 14-0305. It shows up across catalog listings tied to the rear wheel, swinging arm and suspension, and engine fittings and footrests sections, which tells you this is a general-purpose nut used in more than one spot rather than something unique to one bracket. Catalog appearances run from 1970 to 1974.
It's a 1/2 UNF nut. Given how cheap it is to keep a couple on hand and how easy they are to lose track of during a teardown, it's worth grabbing extras when you're already ordering rear wheel or torque stay hardware.
