Cylinder head torque stay bolt
A 5/16 UNF, 1-3/4 inch hex bolt used to secure the cylinder head torque stay to the frame.
This is the bolt Triumph used to secure the torque stay bracket that ties the cylinder head back to the frame, tying the top end down so it doesn't flex under load. It shows up across a wide run of parts-book figures covering motor unit fittings, footrests and engine mountings, and frame fittings, which tells you it's a small but structural piece of hardware rather than anything decorative.

Catalog appearances for this part number run from 1969 through 1985, so it saw long service across a number of engine fitting arrangements. It's a 5/16 UNF hex bolt, 1-3/4 inch long. If you're replacing one, check the bracket and torque stay for wear at the same time - it's a cheap part to overlook but it's doing real work holding the top end steady.
The alias 140220 is just the same part number without the dash, so don't let that confuse you if you see it listed that way in an older catalog.
