If it doesn't fit,
we cover the return.
No restocking fee for a fitment issue. No arguing about whether your bike is “correct.” If it didn't fit, it didn't fit — send it back, we'll cover the label, and we'll figure out what your bike actually needs.
These bikes
don't always
match the book.
Frames get swapped. Engines get rebuilt with whatever was on the bench in 1978. Previous owners “improved” things in ways that made sense to them and nobody else. By the time a Triumph has changed hands four times in fifty-something years, the chances of it matching the original factory parts book exactly are slim.
We know this because we live it every day in the shop. Customer's '69 TR6 turns out to have a '71 frame and a '67 cylinder head and a Mikuni where the Amal used to be. The catalog is a starting point. The bike on your bench is the actual answer.
So when a part doesn't fit, that tells us something about your bike or our cross-reference. We sort it out, and we don't charge you freight to do it.
If a part doesn't fit, we cover the return and send the right one.
That's it.

Email us within 30 days
Send your order number and a quick note on what's going on. A photo of the part next to the bike helps but isn't required.
We send a prepaid label
You don't pay return shipping. We'll email the label and the return address. Drop the part at any carrier shop — no special packaging needed.
Swap or refund — your call
Once we receive it, we either ship the right part (no charge for shipping again) or refund you in full to the original payment method.
The fine print,
in regular type.
Three honest qualifiers. None of them are gotchas — they're just here so we both know what we mean when we say “fitment.”
Fitment only, not buyer's remorse
The promise covers fitment, not changed minds. If you ordered the wrong part because you went a different direction on the build, that's a standard return — see our Shipping & Returns page.
Shipping & ReturnsNot sure? Ask before you order
The catalog is built to make fitment as clear as we can, but if anything's ambiguous, email us with your engine and frame numbers and we'll point you in the right direction. We'd rather spend five minutes with you up front than ship you something twice.
contact@lehangar23.comInstalled parts have one chance
Electrical components, gaskets, and anything installed are non-returnable once fitted — but if they don't fit out of the box, they're covered by this promise like anything else. Check the fit dry before you install.
We built this site
to make finding parts
less of a guessing game.
The Fitment Promise is how we put our money where our mouth is. If the catalog gets it wrong, the return label is on us — every time.
